It is with great disappointment that I forward this message.  The Strengthen Charlotte debate this Wednesday has been postponed until later this year.  For those who couldn't make it on short notice, I guess that it is a good thing in that respect.  Another positive is that the LPMC will be well prepared for upcoming events as the year unfolds.

Due to last minute scheduling conflicts with some of the candidates participating in the debate, StrengthenCharlotte will be rescheduling the event to the fall. We are grateful for the sacrifices of all the candidates for public office, and will continue to strive to provide an opportunity to share their message with the community in the coming months.
StrengthenCharlotte is grateful to all those involved providing various levels of support and partnership, including the League of Women Voters, WTVI, and Amos Southend. Please make time to support these fine groups, as well as the Mecklenburg Public Libraries going forward as they were the prime beneficiary of this postponed event.
