[LPmeck] LPMC donations...we need your help!

Dear friends of Liberty,

As Chairman of the Libertarian Party of Mecklenburg County (LPMC), I am designated with the responsibility of:

1) Promoting and disseminating Libertarian ideas and ideals.
2) Nominating and supporting candidates for county political offices.
3) Supporting state and national Libertarian candidates.
4) Promoting fellowship and fraternity among Libertarian individuals.

After re-organizing over a year ago, we have made some good progress with these objectives.  However, only recently did we register with the state of N.C. as a political committee.  There was a lot of regulatory paperwork and red-tape, but we now have a bank account set up to accept and disburse funds.  This is very exciting news!

With that being said, now is your time to participate.  We have never asked for donations before because we had no legal way to accept them.  The LPMC needs funds to run it's website, purchase outreach material, and send out mailings.  While we do not have any local candidates (supported by the LP) running this fall, there are several candidates running for U.S. House and Senate that need our support.

The best way to contribute funds is to send a check, or have your bank set up recurring payments to:

We need your Name, Address, Occupation, and Employer information included with donations since there are laws regulating such contributions.
