American Majority is pleased to announce that our Activist Training will
be coming to North Carolina Saturday, August 8 in Raleigh.
The goal of this training is to enable common citizens to make a
difference in their communities by learning to utilize modern
communication tools, resources, and by networking with other like-minded
individuals and organizations. The training will be hosted at at the
Waterpark Program Center Conference Room at Lake Johnson Park, 4601
Avent Ferry Road from 10:00 am to 2:30pm.
Presentations that will be offered include:
* Building Coalitions, Reaching Your Community, and Organizing
Meaningful Events
* Holding Your Elected Officials Accountable
* Getting Involved in State and Local Political Campaigns
* New Media: Opinion Editorials, Blogs, Wikipedia Projects and more
* Much more!
The cost for the event is $20 for each attendee and includes resources,
training and lunch.
American Majority believes that real change begins on the local level.
This training will equip citizens to be an active voice for change in
their communities and the nation.
